Education And Politics

In our society of the United States Of America, political points of view have a key role in social problems, which also includes the realm of education. In this essay, I will be covering what the Conservative, Liberal, and Radical Left believe are the problems and solutions to problems in education. To begin, I will write about the conservatives' point of view in regards to education. The Conservatives view the United States' academic aspect as a situation that has decreased in quality. The Conservatives' reason for this view is because they believe that the government has too much of an exclusive control over how the education system operates, and do not condone competition from one school to another. Because of this issue, the Conservative Political Party's solution is to encourage each school to compete with each other, in order to increase the quality of the education in various ways.

Next, I will write about the Liberal's point of view in regards to education. The Liberal Political Party believes that the government should maintain schools across the country. They also view the issues of schools on a sociological level, such as discrimination by race and inequality within class. Because of these reasons, the Liberal Political Party believes that bilingual classes would discourage prejudice behavior inside of the classroom. The Liberal Political Party also endorses school-based programs outside of the classroom, in order to lower the ratio of drugs and other crimes. The last political point of view I will write about is The Radical Left.

The Radical Left view the high amount of the wealthy and powerful as the decline of good education in the United States Of America. The Radical Left also believes that school systems blame the person instead of the school system's inequality. Both the Liberal and Radical Left political parties believe that schools should be given funds. However, they debate with others on the removal of the high amount of funding in wealthy schools to increase the amount of equality from school to school. As of 1998, the state of Vermont took small initiative with this strategy. Unfortunately, some inequality within schools would still be present due to some individual's backgrounds.

In conclusion, there are many ways the issue within education can be solved. Therefore, we must find a Political strategy that will make the future of academics brighter.
